Meshmixer provides support for exporting your model as an SVG file (for example, to create 2D models that can be read by computer-controller slicing/cutting machines.)

SVG Format: Illustrator and Inkscape

Boundary Modes

  • Paths: export boundary loops as paths
  • Polygons: export boundary loops as polygons
  • No boundaries: do not export the boundary loops

Color: fill the path or polygon with color of the face groups incident on the boundary edges, or no color.

Internal Edge Lines: export the non-boundary mesh edges

Face Polygons: export mesh faces as polygons

Face Color: which color to use for the mesh faces exported as polygons (this setting is only meaningful if the Face Polygons box is checked)
